The band was
formed in September 2005 during a Celtic folk festival in Bedzin, south
Poland. It consists of musicians connected with folk-scene in Poland for
years. Dullahan's music is an outcome of their fascination for traditional
music from the different Celtic lands of Europe.
Their repertoire consists
of tunes from Ireland, Scotland played with instruments like flute, fiddle, and tunes like Muiñeiras , Xotas, Saltons, Alboradas,
Entemedios from the two Celtic regions of the Iberian Peninsula - Galicia
and Asturias. An instrument played for the Galician tunes is the
bagpipes - gaita galega from Galicia.
